In the early times since pre history man has always been a hunter gatherer. Having small agricultural lands and animal farming, he was happy with what he had. Gradually as time passed when man had a rising desire to become more powerful and wanted to grow to a bigger land he started venturing out the seek new lands.
His initial source of transportation was b using animals like donkeys and horses which could take him to neighboring lands for the purpose of trade and exchange. As time passed when his desire for wealth remained unquenchable he started developing ships as a main source of transportation as he felt that the sea was the main route to seek the unknown .e believed that the sea route was the source of success.
Men started building ships and started traveling to far of lands to conquer them so as to bring back loot to his place. In this process he started building bigger and bigger ships. Gradually he came to understand that plundering ad looting will not get him far, so he started trade with other lands across the seas. Gradually as the volume of trade between neighboring countries became higher he needed to get himself to these places at the least possible time. This led to the revolutionary design of a new mode of transportation called the automobiles. The automobiles let him to trade goods between localized places in shorter time.
As time passed with the demand for trade increasing the volumes started growing and the time demand was constantly reducing. He needed to travel longer distances in shorter intervals. As the age old saying that Necessity is the mother of invention, man ended up by inventing a new mode of transportation which is what we call the Airplane. The plane let him travel larger distances in much shorter intervals as never imagined before. This is the process of evolution of different modes of transportation. The evolution does not end here. It is a continuous process. Transportation has seen many changes over the years.
