2011 Mazda CX-9. With a base MSRP of about $29,000, this sharp ride almost seems to be too good for the price. It is pretty miniature for a 7-seat SUV. You can hardly tell that there are 3 rows of seats, but don’t be fooled – although small, they are pretty comfortable. Its fuel economy is also pretty good for an SUV – up to 24 miles per gallon. This vehicle comes with standard Bluetooth technology and automatic highway control.

2011 Acura RDX. Another beautiful 2011 vehicle, this one is loaded with technology: Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, high level speakers. With fuel economy also reaching around 24 miles per gallon, and the luxurious exterior and interior featuring very sporty feel, this $36,000 sport utility vehicle is a great option for smaller families.

2011 Audi Q7. One of the most luxurious (and pricey) sport utility vehicles in 2011, this seven passenger SUV features leather surfaces and genuine wood inlays, heated power front seats, iPod connectivity, Bluetooth and universal remote control. Among the key features is also the Audi parking system that includes ultrasonic parking sensors. For over $45,000, it is luxurious indeed!

2011 BMW X3. Safe and powerful, it has that sporty, yet luxurious feel we’ve come to expect from a BMW. Front seats are very comfortable, and there is lots of storage in the back. It is very smooth even on curviest roads and has a variety of add-ons to make your ride even more enjoyable. The 2011 version is a lot roomier than the previous 2004 model. For the price range of around $35,000-$40,000 it is a good buy.

These vehicles are definitely on the expensive side, as SUVs always are, but when well maintained, they can serve one for a long time. Also, lease options are available with reasonable monthly payments.
